Has it been a while since you heard that iconic countdown on the final day of the year? If you’re a parent of small children, staying up late to ring in the New Year can be just plain unfeasible. Or maybe you long for a more family-friendly affair.
Well, don’t let the night owls have all the fun. Bring the kids out to the Museum of Discovery and join us as we ring in the “Noon Year” on Friday, December 31.
We’ll have kid-friendly activities from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and, of course, a whopping big countdown to the noon hour! This year, we will have several special countdowns throughout the museum to avoid overcrowding.
The safety of our guests is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, please be aware of the following:
- Masks are strongly encouraged (except when eating or drinking.)
- Attendance will be limited so we encourage guests to purchase tickets online (members, there is a free ticket reservation option for you.)
The museum will close at 3 p.m. on Friday, December 31 after our Noon Year’s event.
