Event Details
As a special Juneteenth edition, Little learners ages 6 and under can join a special Wiggle Worms program featuring a reading of Dream Big, Little Scientists followed by a colorful chemistry activity using indicators. Guests will also learn about pioneering chemist Alice Augusta Ball, whose groundbreaking work led to a treatment for Hansen’s disease.
Wiggle Worms introduces children, ages 6 and younger, and their families to science through fun and hands-on activities. The program takes place in our great hall and is held Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. We begin with the book I Love Rocks and then move to the activities.
Wiggle Worms is included in regular museum admission or free for members.
