Thursday, March 14, 2024
5-8:30 p.m.
Every year, sixth-graders from across the state of Arkansas are selected to participate in Discovering Excellence in Arkansas (DEIA), an event sponsored by Molex. The purpose of DEIA is to introduce students to the STEM career paths in Arkansas. During the evening, students interact and complete activities with STEM professionals. Students must complete the application form by March 7, 2024 and be recommended by their teacher to attend. Students will be chosen based on their demonstrated interest and/or aptitude in STEM.
*Three students maximum will be accepted per school. The nominating teacher and both parents of the student are encouraged to attend DEIA with their selected student. No siblings or additional visitors are allowed to attend the event.
