Choose your date and purchase your party. You will receive an email with the Birthday Party Agreement where you can select your specific features. Failure to return the agreement may result in loss of party date. The museum does have limited availability per date. Interested in a weekday party? We have three classroom spaces for birthday parties; Madame Curie Classroom, George Washington Carver Classroom, and Albert Einstein Classroom. The XL parties will be a combination of the GW Carver Classroom and Einstein Classroom with the conjoining wall removed.

Payments, Cancellations, & Refund Policies
- Full payment for the party and optional features are required at booking.
- Additional party guests can be paid for in advance at web-booking or on the day of the party. Absent party guests will not be refunded.
- Any unpaid extra guests must be paid by the end of the party.
- Cancellations 3+ weeks prior: full refund minus $100 admin fee.
- Cancellations within 3 weeks: no refund.
- Museum-initiated cancellations: birthday family to decide on full refund or reschedule options.
- Guest-initiated reschedule requests due to emergencies or illness will be handled on a case-by-case basis and are subject to museum availability

Birthday Party Package Includes:
- 2-hour private indoor room rental and all-day museum admission. Museum Hours: Sat 9 AM–5 PM, Sun 1 PM–5 PM
- Tables, chairs, commemorative cups.
- Disposable white utensils, plates and napkins.
- A party host is assigned to the party.
Arrival & Set Up
- Access to the room begins 20 minutes before scheduled time.
- Check in at the admissions desk upon arrival.
- Early arrivals may store items on a cart but cannot enter the room.
- The Museum cannot extend the party duration.
Departure & Clean Up
- Total access: 2 hours for the party and 20 minutes for set up.
- A cart will be provided 15 minutes before end time.
- All items, decorations, and leftover food must be removed.
- The Museum will remove trash bags, sweep and mop, and disinfect tables and chairs. Excessive cleanup will incur a $75 fee.
Guest Count
- Standard Party: includes 20 people (Add up to 10 more, max total of 30)
- XL Party: includes 45 people (Add up to 25 more, max total of 70)
- Additional guests: $13 each. Pay in advance or by the end of the party.
- Adults, kids, the birthday child, & family count toward total attendance.
- Museum memberships are not applicable for birthday party attendance.
- All guests must check in at the front desk for wristbands.
- Supervision ratio: 1 adult per 5 children. Drop-off parties prohibited.
- Disruptive guests will be asked to leave.
Staff
- Staff prepare the room, assist with check-in, and can make overhead announcements for your party upon request.
- Staff do not serve food, decorate, supervise children, un/load vehicles.
Food & Beverages
- Outside food/delivery permitted. Coolers, crockpots, and chafer stands allowed. Food and drinks must remain in party rooms.
- Rooms include a sink & outlets but no kitchen.
- The museum provides: Tables, chairs, commemorative cups. Disposable white utensils, plates and napkins.
- No alcohol, tobacco, or vaping permitted.
Entertainment
- No outside entertainers or characters permitted.
- Museum staff host features for booked features.
Exhibits and Museum Programs
- Small Fry Fish Camp: ages 6 and under; limited capacity.
- Public Programs, Science Demonstrations, and Tesla Shows: first come, first served. No reserved seating.
Decorations
- Approved: Balloons, table/chair décor, freestanding items
- Prohibited: Confetti, glitter, silly string, piñatas, adhesives, sparklers
- Renter is responsible for any damage to property or equipment.
