Party Information

Themed Parties:

Make your little one’s special day truly something to remember with these awesome package addons. Each theme is added to one of the packages above and will add one of our talented educators performing an unforgettable experience for you and all of your guests to enjoy. Themed parties are recommended for children 4 and older.

Animal Adventures Party: If you have an animal fan in the family, this is the party for them. Your party will be hosted by one of our own Animal Rescuers! From creepy and crawly to cuddly and cute, your guests will meet a maximum of four animal ambassadors of the Museum of Discovery up close and personal. There will be lots of time for pictures and games as they meet a variety of members of the animal kingdom!

Frozen Science Party: Let it go and let it snow at this party! We’ve got the ticket to create a magical and science-filled day for your little princess or prince. Enjoy a frozen science demo with liquid nitrogen. Plus! Enjoy some super cool Liquid Nitrogen Ice-Cream!

Mad Scientist Party: Do you have your own little Mad Scientist at home? Encourage their genius with a Mad Scientist Party! Your party will be hosted by one of our own Mad Scientists who will lead your guests through a variety of exciting experiments and activities. You and your guests will have a maddening good time! And you will even get to take home your very own squishy squashy super slime!

Payment Policy:

Full amount is required at the time of booking.
Confirmation of your booking will be sent on receipt of your signed Birthday Party Agreement. Failure to return the agreement may result in loss of party date.
A full refund will be issued minus $100 administration fee if cancellation is made three weeks prior to your party.
No refund will be issued should you cancel your party less than three weeks prior to the party date.
Should the museum need to cancel the party for any reason, including inclement weather, a full refund will be issued.
Rescheduled parties made one week prior to the party date will include a $50 administration fee.

Birthday Party Rules:

Museum staff cannot supervise children. Adults must accompany children in all museum spaces. One adult is required for every five children.
Please be aware of the two-hour schedule. Another party may be scheduled in the same room after your party.
You may arrive 15 minutes before the party is scheduled to begin.
Please keep additional décor to tabletops only.
Please do not hang items on walls or cabinets.
Actual party room will be assigned one week prior to the party date.
No alcohol, or outside entertainment like costumed characters, glitter, confetti, or piñatas, please.
Our Room to Grow exhibit is for children 6 and under. Please note that this space is limited and not designed to accommodate large parties.
