Skip the late-night countdown and join us for a family-friendly celebration at our annual Noon Year’s Countdown on Wednesday, December 31, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. This fun-filled event is perfect for little ones (and grown-ups!) who want to celebrate the New Year without staying up past bedtime.

In addition to hands-on science activities, join us for a mega nitrogen cloud countdown to 2026! We will have countdowns at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. noon, and 1 p.m. so no matter when you join, you will have a mega nitrogen cloud explosion countdown experience!

This event is included in regular museum admission and free for members.
