Messtival Returns April 15!
After a three-year hiatus, Museum of Discovery’s festival devoted to making messes is back! Even better, guests don’t have to be involved in the cleanup! Guests of all ages (toddlers and up,) will enjoy the activities that will include:
· Kid Car Wash
· Mud Pie Kitchen
· Water Play
· Nature Potions
· Oobleck
· Spin Art
· Salt Painting
· Foam and Bubble Play
· Fruit Squishing
· Mashed Potato Sculptures
· Foam Explosions
· Mentos and Coke Geysers
· Pie Throwing
· More!
Additionally, there will be a designated sensory zone for any guests who may need a calming space.
Messtival will take place in the streets outside the museum, while regular museum exhibits will be featured inside. All activities are included in regular museum admission or free for museum members.
Guests are encouraged to wear clothes and shoes that can get wet, messy/stained and to bring a change of clothes and towel. There will be outdoor handwashing stations available.
We need Messtival volunteers!
We are looking for festival volunteers who are at least 14 years old. Volunteers can choose the shift that works best for their schedule. Sign up!
