Tinkerfest built by Kiewit-Massman is a celebration of curiosity and creativity that allows guests of all ages to explore how things work through hands-on activities. See the more than 40 planned activities below (activities subject to change.) Returning this year will be a sensory station that will provide activities for neurodivergent guests in a calming and soothing environment.

Tinkerfest events are included in the museum’s regular daily admission: $10 for adults, $8 for children 1-12 and free for infants younger than 1. Seniors, teachers, Little Rock city employees and active and retired military are admitted for $8. SNAP recipients plus an additional five people are admitted for $2 (Must purchase tickets at door to show proof.)

Volunteers are needed the day of Tinkerfest (must be at least 14 years of age) for the following shifts: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.; 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
