With new COVID-19 cases still prevalent in Arkansas, the Museum of Discovery is taking precautions to make Tinkerfest 2021 a safe event. That’s why we are selling tickets for specific entry times – 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. We took this timed-ticket approach for the four smaller Tinkerfests in 2020, and it helped regulate the flow of people entering the site. However, we never had to enforce the two-hour limit, meaning at 11 a.m. we didn’t have to ask the 9 a.m. group to leave and same at 1 p.m. with the 11 a.m. group. We reserve the right to enforce the two-hour limit if the event gets overly crowded, but with a larger site and 350 tickets sold for each of the timeslots, we don’t anticipate having to enforce the two-hour limit.
Tinkerfest events are included in the museum’s regular daily admission: $10 for adults, $8 for children 1-12 and free for infants younger than 1. Seniors, teachers, Little Rock city employees and active and retired military are admitted for $8. SNAP recipients plus an additional five people are admitted for $2.
