Each Tinkerfest will be along the 100 block of Sherman Street just outside the museum’s main entrance. The adjustment will prevent overcrowding and allow more staff to be devoted to ongoing sanitization efforts during each event. Additionally for safety, all guests 10 and older are required to wear a mask during the event and inside the museum. There will also be hand sanitizer available at each activity.
Tinkerfest is included in regular museum admission ($10 for adults, $8 for children 12 and younger and free for members and younger than 1.)
Be sure to mark you calendar for the upcoming Tinkerfests:
Tinkerfest is sponsored by Baldwin & Shell Construction Company; Dassault Falcon Jet; Entergy; Garver; Mr Plastic; Southwest Power Pool; Arkansas School For Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts and AGC Arkansas.

About the Museum of Discovery
The Museum of Discovery is Arkansas’s premier science and technology center, and our mission to ignite and fuel a passion for science, technology, engineering, arts and math through dynamic, interactive experiences. Our museum is the oldest in the state of Arkansas, founded in 1927. We became the Museum of Discovery in 1998 when we moved to our River Market location. Thanks to a $9.2 million grant from the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation, we debuted 90 new, interactive, hands-on exhibits in 2012.
