Many children and family in the state are struggling through illnesses, homelessness, abuse and other tragic circumstances and therefore are unable to afford educational outings to the Museum of Discovery. A donation to this campaign will help provide free admission for families living at places such as Ronald McDonald House, Dorcas House, Our House and other organizations that help families through transitional periods in their lives.
Igniting a passion for science, technology and math.
The Museum of Discovery is Arkansas’s premier science and technology center, and our mission is to ignite a passion for science, technology and math in a dynamic, interactive environment. Our museum is the oldest in the state of Arkansas, founded in 1927. We became the Museum of Discovery in 1998 when we moved to our River Market location. Thanks to a $9.2 million grant from the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation, we debuted 90 new, interactive, hands-on exhibits in 2012.Learn More
