Providing free admission to the museum and our programs – which also are presented outside our walls – is a critical component of the mission of the Museum of Discovery. A donation to this campaign will help expose more young people to hands-on science and technology-based activities in an informal, non-threatening educational environment, whether that’s in the museum or an outreach session.
A free, family-friendly event on April 7
The Museum of Discovery is Arkansas’s premier science and technology center, and our mission is to ignite a passion for science, technology, engineering, arts and math in a dynamic, interactive environment. Our museum is the oldest in the state of Arkansas, founded in 1927. We became the Museum of Discovery in 1998 when we moved to our River Market location. Thanks to a $9.2 million grant from the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation, we debuted 90 new, interactive, hands-on exhibits in 2012.Learn More
