Ring in the “Noon Year” at Museum of Discovery!

Has it been a while since you heard that iconic countdown on the final day of the year? If you’re a parent of small children, staying up late to ring in the New Year can be just plain unfeasible. Or maybe you long for a more family-friendly affair. Well, don’t let the night owls have all the fun. Bring the kids out to the Museum of Discovery and join us as we ring in the “Noon Year” on Friday, December 31! We’ll have kid-friendly activities from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and, of course, a whopping big countdown to the noon hour! This year, we will have several special countdowns throughout the museum to prevent overcrowding. Additionally, tickets will be limited, so purchase your tickets in advance online. (Members should reserve their tickets online.) Masks are strongly encouraged. Tickets are included in the cost of regular admission or free for members.

The museum will close at 3 p.m. on Friday, December 31, after our Noon Year’s event.
